Meet our mighty founder.
Russell is a seasoned business leader and entrepreneur with 24 years of experience, including 16 in executive roles. He believes that rigor drives repeatable growth, profitability ensures sustainability—and that companies that listen to their customers deliver the highest value.
Previously, Russell served as Executive Director of ME to WE, one of Canada’s most recognized social enterprises. Under his leadership, the organization grew from $7M in revenue to $42M all while donating $20M to WE Charity. Russell created the strategic planning function at WE for the charity and the social enterprise that supported the rapid growth of the organizations.
Russell is the founder of Mightyhum, a Toronto-based consulting firm that helps leaders build high-performing organizations.

Louise Kent
Partner & Chief Impact Officer
Louise is a strategic leader passionate about creating lasting impact for a better future. She combines rigorous data, impact assessment, and change management practice to help organizations move from good intentions to measurable results. Louise began her Canadian career as a professional speaker and facilitator, addressing over 250,000 people internationally on leadership and creating impact. She has since led strategy and operational initiatives across a wide range of charitable and corporate organizations. As a Director of Impact Investing with Royal York Capital, and later as a Portfolio Director with LEAP | The Center for Social Impact, Louise worked with charities and firms like BCG and EY to scale impact. Most recently, she worked with Girl Guides of Canada, where she spearheaded massive change initiatives for its 95,000 members. Louise has an Executive MBA from Ivey Business School and is a Certified Change Management Practitioner. She holds the Sustainability & Climate Risk (SCR) credential and has completed her GRI Professional and PMP certifications. Louise combines real world data, impact assessment best practice, and change management techniques to design strategy and articulate impact for clients. In 2024, Louise’s commitment to ethical business led Mightyhum to achieve its B Corp Certification. Jessica Wilson
Director, Strategy & Delivery
Jessica Wilson is a strategy leader who built her career at the intersection of strategy and communication. For over 15 years she has turned complex vision into plans people can actually execute. Executives across industries have long relied on Jessica to turn big ideas into workable plans. At BMO, she served as a strategic advisor to the CMO, leading integrated planning and performance management and building the executive reporting and governance that shaped decisions at the highest level. At Kobo, she managed a $31M global brand budget across seven international markets during a major expansion. Along the way, she launched products into new markets and led full-funnel strategy spanning paid, owned and earned channels. Jessica has a proven talent for taking scattered priorities and complex data and turning them into a clear story that gets all stakeholders pointed in the same direction. Jessica has earned certificates in AI for business from Microsoft and Google, as well as digital marketing, and leadership, and is currently completing her MBA at Carleton University's Sprott School of Business. Jessica brings the same discipline to her personal pursuits as she does to her work: she's a four-time Boston Marathon finisher, an avid cyclist, and a volunteer with The Bike Brigade, supporting Toronto non-profits since 2021. John Hartline
Principal
John Hartline brings over 30 years of executive leadership to Mightyhum, with a career built at the intersection of operational excellence, supply chain strategy, and organizational capability building. He has spent decades partnering with the world's largest consumer brands — delivering measurable, sustained results through disciplined execution and people-first leadership. John's career spans light manufacturing, contract manufacturing, and supply chain logistics across both regional and global networks. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Global Supply Chain at TMS, where over a decade he helped offset more than 70% of cumulative inflation on a global promotional program through targeted efficiency and effectiveness initiatives — a result that earned recognition as an industry-leading supplier development framework from Gartner. Earlier in his career, John held senior executive roles at Elgin Dairy Foods, Creata Promotion and HAVI, including COO of HAVI Logistics Asia and SVP of HAVI Asia Pacific, where he led large-scale operational transformation across complex, multi-country environments. His work has earned multiple Supplier of the Year, Cost/Savings Champion, as well as Supplier Impact designations from major global clients.
